Types of Policies, Insured Persons, and Zurich Insurance Packages

There are three types of policies available under Zurich Insurance:

  • Single Trip: Covers travel from the time you leave Indonesia until you return.
  • One-Way Trip: Covers travel where you do not plan to return to Indonesia.
  • Annual Travel: Covers recurring annual trips.

Zurich Insurance also offers three types of coverage for different travelers:

  • Individual: For one person only.
  • Duo Plus: For two or more people traveling together.
  • Family: Covers a father, mother, and their children—with no limit on the number of children covered.

For international travel, Zurich Insurance offers three package options: Basic, Executive, and Premier, each with different levels of coverage and pricing.

  • The Basic package includes medical coverage up to IDR 700 million and personal accident coverage up to IDR 500 million.
  • The Executive package offers medical coverage up to IDR 1 billion and personal accident coverage up to IDR 1.25 billion.
  • The Premier package provides medical coverage up to IDR 2.5 billion and personal accident coverage up to IDR 1.5 billion.

How to File a Zurich Insurance Claim

There are certain terms and conditions you must follow in order to file a claim with Zurich Insurance. You’ll also need to prepare specific documents to complete the process.

Here are the terms and required documents for submitting a Zurich Insurance claim:

  • You must submit a written notification to Zurich no later than 30 days after the event causing the claim.
  • All supporting documents must be submitted within 90 days of the incident. These include:
    - Claim Form & Incident Chronology
    - Copy of personal identification
    - Copy of passport
    - Copy of insurance policy
    - Ticket & boarding pass
    - Other supporting documents if required

Claim payments will be made by Zurich no later than 30 days after the acceptance or rejection letter is issued. Be sure to sign and return the declaration of acceptance and release form to Zurich beforehand.
