Hotel Options at Changi Airport Singapore for a Convenient Holiday

If you’re planning to explore Singapore without the hassle of moving far from the airport—whether it’s due to an early flight, a long layover, or simply wanting easy access to public transportation—staying at one of the hotels provided by Changi Airport can be a smart choice.

As the world’s best airport, the hotel facilities offered at Changi Airport are certainly top-notch. With comprehensive amenities, strategic locations, and direct connections to shopping centers or MRT stations, these hotels offer maximum comfort to start or end your trip more leisurely.

Here are the hotel options at Changi Airport you can consider during your holiday.

Transit Hotels

As the name suggests, transit hotels at Changi Airport are specifically designed for passengers with long layovers between flights, without the need to leave the airport premises. These transit hotels are available in Terminal 1, 2, 3, and the CIP Terminal, as well as in Jewel, which is one of Changi Airport’s main attractions.

Terminal 1

One of the most popular transit hotels at Changi Airport is Aerotel Singapore, located in Terminal 1. Getting to this hotel is quite easy; simply follow the “Transit Hotel” signs and take the escalator to the hotel situated near Departure Gate D40.

Aerotel Singapore is the only airport transit hotel in the world equipped with an outdoor swimming pool, poolside bar, gym, and library facilities, and it offers 68 premium rooms that are comfortable for guests.

At this hotel, passengers can book rooms for an hourly duration up to a maximum of 24 hours, depending on their travel needs. The hotel offers various room types, from Solo Rooms for single travelers to Double Plus Rooms and Family Rooms suitable for couples and families.

Terminal 2

Ambassador Transit Hotel in Terminal 2 of Changi Airport is an ideal choice for passengers wishing to rest without having to go through immigration procedures. Located on Level 3 of the Departure Transit Lounge South, this hotel offers maximum comfort for travelers with long layovers or early morning flights.

Ambassador Transit Hotel provides various room options with flexible rental durations, starting from 3 hours up to a maximum of 24 hours, depending on each passenger’s transit time.

The rooms are modest but clean and comfortable, equipped with proper beds, private bathrooms, work desks, and televisions. The quiet atmosphere, away from the hustle and bustle of the airport’s public areas, makes this hotel suitable for recharging energy in the middle of a journey.

Terminal 3

In addition to Terminal 2, Ambassador Transit Hotel also has another branch located in Terminal 3, precisely in the Transit Lounge North, Mezzanine Level, directly opposite Transfer B and near the airport cinema. Easy access from all terminals via the Skytrain and pedestrian pathways makes it very practical for transit passengers.

Ambassador Transit Hotel in Terminal 3 offers similar facilities as its counterpart in Terminal 2, namely accommodating passengers with stay services ranging from 3 to 24 hours.

Jewel

YOTELAIR Singapore is a modern capsule hotel located inside Jewel Changi Airport, precisely on Level 4 (4th floor), in the Landside Area. This hotel is specifically designed for travelers needing a short rest, especially during transit, waiting for early morning flights, or arriving late at night in Singapore.

YOTELAIR is located outside the immigration area, making it accessible to anyone, whether international passengers or local visitors. Its location is highly strategic; situated between Terminals 1, 2, and 3, and reachable on foot through connecting pathways within the airport.

The main advantage of YOTELAIR is its hourly rental system (minimum of 4 hours), making it highly flexible and economical for short-term needs. Flexible check-in and check-out times are available 24 hours a day, as well as the option to use shower cabins before the next flight.

CIP Terminal

Apart from Terminal 1, 2, 3, and the Jewel area, Changi Airport also offers hotel options within the Commercially Important Person Terminal or CIP Terminal area.

The CIP Terminal itself is an exclusive terminal at Changi Airport designed specifically to provide premium and private services for high-profile passengers, including executives, important figures, and travelers seeking a quieter and more personal travel experience.

The exclusive hotel in this area is the JetQuay Sleeping Suite. With four beautiful suites, all offering garden views, JetQuay Suite is available for stays of 6 hours, which can be extended upon request. The package includes shower facilities, meals, and access to the lounge.

However, it’s important to note that because JetQuay is located outside the transit area, passengers will need to go through immigration first. Therefore, this service is suitable only for those who have a visa or visa-free entry to Singapore, especially if they have a long layover or wish to stay overnight before their next flight.

Crowne Plaza

Crowne Plaza is a five-star hotel strategically located in Terminal 3 of Changi Airport. The hotel has direct access to all terminals via the Skytrain and connecting bridges and is situated right next to Jewel. You only need to take the Skytrain or walk through the connecting bridge from the terminal to reach the hotel.

The hotel has won the World’s Best Airport Hotel award at the Skytrax World Airport Awards 2025 for ten consecutive years. Additionally, it has also secured the Best Airport Hotel in Asia-Pacific award for seven consecutive years at the Business Traveller Asia-Pacific Awards 2024.

Crowne Plaza features 575 well-designed guest rooms, including premier rooms with runway views and several deluxe rooms offering beautiful panoramas of Jewel. There are also pool terrace club rooms and suites that provide a luxurious modern ambiance.
For passengers needing a room for daytime use during a layover, there are day-use room options available for 4, 6, or 8 hours between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM.

In addition to many rooms equipped with top-class amenities, the hotel also features a rainforest-themed ballroom and six versatile meeting spaces with advanced technology facilities. It’s perfect for meetings, conferences, or special events, particularly for companies operating in the Changi Business Park area or Singapore Expo.
