A free Stranger Things–themed festival will take place in L.A. next weekend

To celebrate the final season of Stranger Things, Netflix is hosting the One Last Ride festival in Los Angeles, and the good news is: the event is free for the public. It will be held on Sunday, November 23, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. along Melrose Avenue, between Vermont and Fairfax. What Is the “One Last Ride” Festival? This event is a collaboration between Netflix and CicLAvia, transforming Melrose Avenue into a car-free zone where visitors can bike, walk, skate, or simply relax while enjoying an ’80s-themed atmosphere. Guests can even dress up in retro outfits like leg warmers, windbreakers, or costumes inspired by Stranger Things characters, or even monsters from the Upside Down. Exciting Activities to Try Along the four-mile route, you’ll find small hubs, or “quest book” stations, at three key points: between Vermont & Berendo, Plymouth & Windsor, and Genesee & Fairfax. These hubs offer trivia activities, giveaways from local businesses, themed Stranger Things photo spots, and exclusive merchandise. There will also be live performances, giveaways, and special Netflix content planned for exclusive release on that day. Why This Event Is Special for Stranger Things Fans This event isn’t just a nostalgic celebration, it marks the end of the Stranger Things story in a massive and memorable way. With a four-mile route transformed into a “Hawkins street,” the festival lets fans experience the world of the series on a large scale. Held just before the release of Volume 1 of the final season on Netflix, the festival also serves as a community gathering where fans can celebrate together. Tips for Attending the Festival Arrive early so you can enjoy all activities at each hub without the crowds. Wear a retro outfit or costume to really blend in with the Stranger Things vibe, and make sure to wear a helmet if you’re biking or skating. Also, bring a refillable water bottle, refill stations will be available at several points along the route. Make sure your connection stays stable throughout the event as well. Using a United States eSIM can be the most practical option, allowing you to access maps, event information, and share exciting moments without the hassle of looking for public Wi-Fi.
