Top 10 Best Airports in the World 2024
As mentioned earlier, the World Airport Awards by Skytrax are held annually. So, what does the 2024 ranking look like?
The title of World’s Best Airport for 2024 goes to Doha Hamad International Airport, located in Doha, Qatar. This airport climbed one spot from 2023, when it was ranked second.
With Doha Hamad International Airport now at the top, Singapore Changi Airport dropped one position and ranks second for 2024.
In third place is Incheon International Airport in South Korea, which moved up one spot from the previous year, pushing Tokyo Haneda International Airport down to fourth place.

Indonesian Airports Among the World’s Best in 2024
Beyond globally renowned airports, two airports in Indonesia also made it into the list of the world’s best airports in 2024 by Skytrax: Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Tangerang, Banten, and I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Denpasar, Bali.
Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (CGK)
Soekarno-Hatta International Airport achieved 28th place in the 2024 Skytrax ranking, a significant leap from its 43rd position last year. This improvement reflects the airport’s continuous efforts in enhancing passenger services and upgrading facilities.
I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS)
Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali also made the list, securing the 74th position, up from 80th place in the previous year. Both airports' performance shows notable advancements that have earned international recognition.
With these achievements, not only Soekarno-Hatta and Ngurah Rai airports but all airports in Indonesia are expected to continue enhancing their services and facilities—making the country proud on the world stage.
