The Beauty of Garden Rhapsody – Gardens by the Bay’s Night Light Show in Singapore
Known as the most popular flower garden on Instagram, Gardens by the Bay in Singapore has much more to offer beyond its daytime charm. One of the standout attractions is a show called Garden Rhapsody.
Also known as the Gardens by the Bay Light Show, Garden Rhapsody is a nightly music and light performance that takes place at the Supertree Grove every evening at 7:45 PM and 8:45 PM local time. The show lasts around 10–15 minutes, during which the LED lights installed on the Supertrees light up and move in sync with the music.
This performance offers a completely different experience of Gardens by the Bay at night, transforming the space into a vibrant and enchanting atmosphere.
Garden Rhapsody Light Show Themes (September–December 2024)
Each month, the Garden Rhapsody showcases a unique theme, meaning both the choreography and soundtrack change regularly. This ensures a fresh experience for returning visitors.

A journey through magical stories and touching memories inspired by the moon.
October: World of Fantasy
Themes include Wizardry, Magic, Cosmic Space, Oceans, Adventure, and Dinosaurs. The soundtrack features songs from films like The Little Mermaid and Pinocchio, arranged by local Singaporean artists Benjamin and Narelle Kheng, and Caitanya Tan.
November: Garden Waltz
A classical waltz-themed light show where guests are invited to sway along to enchanting music.
December: The Christmas Special
Celebrate the festive season with a dazzling Christmas light show set to beloved holiday tunes sung by Singaporean vocalists.
Best Spots to Enjoy the Garden Rhapsody
Not every area in Gardens by the Bay offers a clear view of the show. Since ticketed areas differ, it’s important to choose your location wisely so you don’t miss out on the experience.
Here are the best places to enjoy Garden Rhapsody:
Supertree Grove
This is the main show area. Try to find a spot near the largest Supertree in the center. Visitors can sit or lie down on mats placed on the ground to enjoy the show comfortably.
OCBC Skyway
This elevated walkway offers a stunning view from above, located among the Supertrees. Entry is limited and may be restricted during bad weather.
Jurassic Nest Food Hall (Lawn Area)
Not inside the restaurant itself, but just in front of it. This grassy area is great for sitting or lying down—weather permitting, as the grass will be wet if it rains. For a better view, sit closer to Supertree Grove.
World of Plants
Though a bit farther from the Supertree Grove, this area still provides a decent view. Visitors can stroll along the path leading toward Supertree Grove for a better angle.
Important Visitor Information for Gardens by the Bay
