Juanda International Airport in Surabaya has officially opened a new flight route connecting Surabaya and Fuzhou, China. The route is operated by Xiamen Airlines and is scheduled three times a week using a Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

Flights from Juanda Airport (SUB) to Fuzhou Changle International Airport (FOC) are scheduled to depart at 15:00 WIB and take approximately 5 hours and 45 minutes nonstop. With a frequency of three times per week, this service is expected to strengthen air connectivity between Indonesia and eastern China, particularly for the trade sector and travel between major port cities.

The General Manager of Juanda Airport, Muhammad Tohir, stated that the opening of this route reflects international airlines’ confidence in East Java’s strong potential.
