Starting 11 November 2025, the Lion Group, which includes airlines such as Batik Air Indonesia, Batik Air Malaysia, and Thai Lion Air, will move all of its operations from Terminal 3 to Terminal 4 at Singapore Changi Airport.

According to the Changi Airport Group, this move is part of a long-term strategy to support the Lion Group’s growth in Southeast Asia and to enhance the passenger experience with faster and more modern processes. Changi Airport Terminal 4 is known for its high level of automation for check-in, baggage handling, immigration, and boarding, with a capacity of up to 16 million passengers per year.
Impact on the Lion Group and Passengers
With the relocation to Changi Airport Terminal 4, the Lion Group will gain greater “headroom” for expanding routes and increasing flight frequencies to and from Singapore. Passengers will also benefit, as airport processes are expected to run more smoothly, and inter-terminal waiting times will be improved, with shuttle buses running every five minutes starting November 2025.
